To hide Thailand trip, Mumbai student mutilates passport, lands in trouble

A 25-year-old fashion merchandising student at Mumbai airport was stopped while boarding a flight to Singapore. Immigration officials found her passport had four missing pages, which she had removed to conceal a trip to Thailand. The student has been charged with cheating and violations under the Passport Act for trying to deceive her institute.
