Sangrur Unit faces groundwater pollution case; action initiated for contaminating water

Following a protest by farmers and Chajjli village residents, police registered a case against a bottle-washing unit based on a complaint from the Punjab Pollution Control Board. The unit allegedly discharged effluent into borewells, contaminating groundwater. Officials collected samples and requested power disconnection for further investigation.
