Satya Nadella sells shares worth over $6M, here’s why he had to inform it in SEC filing

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella sold 7,199 of his shares on August 23 at an average price of $417.412, totaling about $6 million. The sale was disclosed as part of SEC requirements for insider transactions. Following the sale, Nadella retains 786,932.685 Microsoft shares. Nadella clarified he doesn’t have beneficial ownership of the securities for regulatory purposes.
