Malayalam filmmaker Mohan passes away at 76

Veteran Malayalam filmmaker and screenwriter Mohan has passed away at the age of 76 after a prolonged illness. Celebrated for his contributions during Malayalam cinema’s golden era, Mohan’s notable works include ‘Shalini Ente Koottukari’ and ‘Pakshe’. Beginning his career as an assistant director, he later gained acclaim for his depictions of individual conflicts and family values. He is survived by his wife, Kuchipudi dancer Anupama, and their two children.
