Monsoon rains trigger mudslide in Pakistan; 12 dead near Afghanistan border

A deadly mudslide in Upper Dir, northwestern Pakistan, caused by heavy monsoon rains, resulted in the loss of 12 lives, primarily children. Rescue officials recovered nine children, two women, and a man. Authorities have issued warnings about potential landslides and flash floods due to continuous heavy rains, which have claimed over 275 lives since July 1.
