Air traffic, Railways traffic and cargo and port cargo grew in July shows resilience of Indian economy

In July 2024, domestic air passenger traffic in India increased by 7% YoY to 1.30 crore passengers, even amid challenges like adverse weather and IT issues. Additionally, both cargo handling and rail freight saw growth, driven by new dedicated freight corridors that have enhanced overall efficiency in the logistics sector.
