Puja Khedkar sacked from IAS with ‘immediate effect’

The central government has terminated IAS probationer Puja Manorama Khedkar’s service following the UPSC’s cancellation of her Civil Services Examination 2022 candidature. She was found guilty of exceeding permissible exam attempts by faking her identity. Consequently, she is ineligible for recruitment and permanently barred from all future UPSC examinations.
