North Korean leader emphasises importance of strengthening naval power

During a tour of a naval base construction site, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un emphasized the need to enhance naval power by building facilities for large warships and submarines. He urged increased investments in shipbuilding and modernization of munitions production. Kim also criticized recent US-South Korea military activities as destabilizing.
