Youth presses emergency button in Bengaluru metro for ‘fun’

A 21-year-old man caused a 10-minute disruption on Namma Metro’s Purple Line by activating the emergency trip system at MG Road station. The incident happened around 4:20 PM and resulted in a Rs 5,000 fine. Security staff tracked him to Cubbon Park station using surveillance footage and apprehended him there.
