CEO fired over ‘inappropriate relationship’ with India-origin lawyer

Norfolk Southern Corporation dismissed CEO Alan Shaw and terminated Executive Vice President Nabanita C Nag after discovering their inappropriate relationship. Mark R George has been appointed as the new President and CEO, effective immediately. Jason A Zampi will serve as acting Chief Financial Officer during this transition period.
