Diego Maradona’s death: Medical negligence trial postponed to 2025

The trial of seven medical professionals charged with negligence in the death of football legend Diego Maradona has been rescheduled to March 11, 2025. Maradona passed away in November 2020 after brain surgery. Prosecutors allege the defendants provided reckless and deficient home care, facing potential prison terms between eight and 25 years.
