Senior IAS officer R Meenakshi Sundaram has highlighted the Rishikesh-Karnaprayag railway line as a transformative project for Uttarakhand. He noted the state’s impressive progress in poverty reduction and per capita income since its formation in 2000. The Char Dham road project and upcoming Delhi-Dehradun expressway are also set to boost connectivity and tourism.
