Varanasi shopkeeper shot dead for refusing cigarettes; assailants on the run

A shopkeeper in Varanasi’s Birnathipur village was fatally shot by bikers at midnight after refusing to provide them with cigarettes. The attackers fled the scene following the shooting, leaving Sharda Yadav critically injured. Police have begun an investigation and launched a manhunt to capture those responsible for this violent act.
