Months after son’s intercaste marriage, moter gets tied to a pole and thrashed severely in Kurnool district

In Kalukunta village, Govindamma, aged 55, was brutally beaten after her son married a girl from another caste. The girl’s family attacked her when she visited the village. Police rescued her and admitted her to a government hospital for treatment. Ten individuals involved in the assault have been booked by authorities.
