Tragic road accident on Mogili ghat road claims seven lives in Chittoor district

In a tragic incident on Mogili ghat road, Chittoor district, seven people lost their lives and over 30 sustained injuries when two trucks collided with an APSRTC bus en route to Bengaluru from Tirupati. Critically injured individuals were moved to Chittoor’s government hospital, while others received treatment at Palamaner hospital. The government declared Rs.5 lakh ex-gratia for the victims’ families.
