Thrashed for ‘molesting’ kid on train, rail staffer dies

A 34-year-old railway employee named Prashant Kumar was beaten to death by passengers on a Humsafar Express train after allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl. The incident took place between Lucknow and Kanpur. Prashant was taken into custody but succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Kanpur.
