Hindu side’s plea for repairs in Gyanvapi basement nixed

A Varanasi court has dismissed a plea from the Hindu side requesting repairs and restoration of the ‘Vyas Ka Tahkhana’ basement. The court decided not to instruct the district magistrate for any action, taking into account objections from the Muslim side and a related case pending in the Supreme Court.
