DirecTV, Dish in talks again to merge satellite-TV businesses, Bloomberg reports

AT&T and TPG are in preliminary discussions to combine their DirecTV service with Dish, according to Bloomberg News. The talks with Dish parent EchoStar Corp have not yet resulted in an agreement. Meanwhile, DirecTV is embroiled in a public dispute with Disney that has affected ESPN access for 11 million customers.
