‘No maintenance, she can support herself’

A Delhi court has refused monthly maintenance to a woman who accused her husband and in-laws of domestic violence, citing her capability to support herself. The court noted that both parties made exaggerated claims without enough evidence. The woman works for the Union ministry of defence and earns Rs 43,900 per month.
