Shanghai braces for Typhoon Bebinca, hundreds of flights cancelled

Shanghai has suspended transportation services and closed tourist attractions in preparation for Typhoon Bebinca, which could be the most powerful cyclone to hit the city since 1949. The typhoon is expected to make landfall after midnight on Monday. Authorities have issued a red alert for strong winds and heavy rainfall in eastern China.
