TCS bans 6 employees and business associates for violating ethical conduct
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has taken action against six employees and six business associate companies for violating ethical conduct. The action follows allegations of a recruitment scandal made by a whistleblower. TCS chairperson, N Chandrasekaran, stated that the company will review and tighten its supplier management process to prevent such incidents in the future. Chandrasekaran emphasized the importance of ethical conduct and integrity among employees. TCS has denied any recruitment fraud and clarified that the alleged scam doesn’t involve the Resource Management Group (RMG), which handles less than 2-3% of the hiring. Investigations are underway with the involvement of internal and external parties.
