Two simultaneous encounters under way in Poonch, Kathua of J&K

Security forces engaged terrorists in gunfights in Mendhar sector of Poonch and Bani area of Kathua district. Additional troops were deployed to reinforce the cordon. These incidents follow recent encounters across various districts, with increased security measures ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
