Magdalena Frech downs Olivia Gadecki in Guadalajara for first WTA title

Magdalena Frech won her first WTA tour title in Guadalajara by defeating Australian qualifier Olivia Gadecki with a score of 7-6 (7/5), 6-4. Ranked 43rd, this is Frech’s first hard court final win at the 500-level. Gadecki, ranked 152nd, played her first tour-level final and will now break into the top 100 rankings.
