‘I was in close contact with BJP and know it better than others’

Samajwadi Party national general secretary Shivpal Yadav admits that he was in touch with the BJP after the battle for supremacy within the Yadav clan broke out in 2016. Claiming that he was in talks with the entire leadership of the party from top to bottom, Shivpal said BJP is a party which has “flawed intentions”. Speaking to Pervez Iqbal Siddiqui, he said BJP’s agencies like ED and CBI will not have any impact on SP. Excerpts:
