Google celebrated the 204th birth anniversary of women’s rights activist and scientist Eunice Newton Foote, who discovered the greenhouse effect. The Google Doodle depicts her journey and contributions that continue to make life better on Earth. Foote was the first scientist to emphasise the need to address climate change and prevent global warming.She attended Troy Female Seminary, which encouraged girls to develop scientific skills, and, in 1848, signed the Declaration of Sentiments, demanding gender equality
