Villagers carry man’s body on ‘Doli’ for 7km in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district

Residents of Diguvakondaparti village in Vizianagaram district had to carry the body of Raja Rao on a makeshift stretcher for seven kilometers due to lack of proper roads and a boat. Rao, who suffered from jaundice, passed away after being admitted to the district hospital. The sarpanch has requested government intervention for better road access.
