Policy on anvil to make it mandatory for automobile producers to use 20% recycled scrap materials by 2026-27

As per the proposal of Extended Production Responsibility (EPR) Policy for vehicle manufacturers of the environment ministry, which is in the works, the manufacturers will also be responsible for recycling a share of the vehicles they sell in the domestic market.
