Institute to be set up in Mumbai to boost AVGC-XR industry

The Union Cabinet has approved the establishment of the National Centre of Excellence for animation, visual effects, gaming, comics and extended reality in Mumbai. This initiative aims to make India a global hub for content creation by providing specialized training and fostering research. It also seeks to boost employment and attract foreign investments into the media and entertainment sector.
