Telangana to scrap 15-year-old vehicles from Jan 1, 2025

From January 1, 2025, Telangana will ban vehicles older than 15 years unless they pass a fitness test, allowing them to operate for an additional 3-5 years with a green tax. Government vehicles must be scrapped after reaching the age limit regardless of condition. The draft policy is awaiting government approval.
