Foxconn set to start mass producing Apple AirPods in India

Foxconn has reportedly approved an investment of $400m to start producing Apple AirPods in Hyderabad, India, with mass production to begin in December 2024. These AirPods will reportedly be sold worldwide. The move follows Apple opening its first retail stores in India and starting to manufacture iPhone 15 models at Foxconn’s facility in Tamil Nadu, with Indian-made devices set to start shipping within weeks.
