China’s same-sex couples can legally register marriage in Taiwan

Taiwan has opened its doors for same-sex couples from China to register their marriages, marking a historic recognition of cross-strait unions. Couples need to be legally married in one of the 35 countries recognizing marriage equality and must pass an interview process before registering their marriage in Taiwan.
