Russia has dispatched fighter jets to intercept two drones over the Black Sea, stating that it was to prevent a potential violation of its state border. The drones, identified as an MQ-9 Reaper and a Bayraktar TB2, changed their flight direction and left the area as a result. The Black Sea has seen increased tensions since Russia exited a deal protecting exports from Ukraine ports, with attacks escalating on both sides. Incidents involving Russian and Western aircraft have also multiplied in recent months.
