Novelist gets extortion call for ‘insulting community’

A man allegedly attempted to extort Rs 10 lakh from novelist Anand L Neelakantan by claiming that he had insulted the Valmiki community in his book “Valmiki’s Women: Five Tales of Ramayana”.
