5 held for converting people in UP’s Mathura

Five individuals have been arrested in Mathura for allegedly attempting to convert people to Christianity during a religious gathering. Police intervened upon receiving information about the event, discovering around four dozen attendees. The accused were detained under the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021, and subsequently sent to judicial custody.
