Eric Roberts speaks about parenting Emma Roberts: I’m still not a father figure

In his memoir ‘Runaway Train: Or the Story of My Life So Far,’ Eric Roberts shares his difficulties in parenting daughter Emma Roberts. He admits he was unprepared for fatherhood and struggled with drug addiction, leading to their estrangement. Despite his love for Emma, he acknowledges not fulfilling the father figure role. “I’m still not a father figure. Emma, on the other hand, certainly knows what that role is — now grown up and a mom herself,” he said.
