Six dead after floods in central Japan: media

In Ishikawa, Japan, heavy rains have triggered floods and landslides, causing at least six fatalities. The area is still recovering from a significant earthquake earlier this year. Over 540 millimetres of rain fell within 72 hours. Power outages affected around 4,000 households and many regions remain isolated due to blocked roads.
