All TB dam crest gates to be replaced, says Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that all 33 crest gates of the Tungabhadra dam will be replaced as per expert recommendations. This follows an incident where one gate was washed away in August, causing concern among local farmers. The dam, now 70 years old, should have had its gates replaced after 50 years.
