Badlapur case: Akshay Shinde’s father seeks probe into ‘fake encounter’

The family of Akshay Shinde, who died in a police encounter while in custody, has petitioned the Bombay High Court for a special investigation. Shinde was accused of sexual assault and allegedly took a policeman’s gun before being shot. The Maharashtra CID will investigate the matter.
