CCTVs, masks & gloves … : UP govt’s strict norms for eateries amid food contamination cases

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that names and addresses of operators, proprietors, and managers be displayed at all food centres. Chefs and waiters must wear masks and gloves, with CCTV installation mandatory in hotels and restaurants. This move follows recent incidents of food contamination reported in the state.
