MEIL to set up two 4000MW pumped storage hydro projects in Maharashtra at Rs 21,000 crore

MEIL will invest Rs 21,000 crore in two pumped storage hydro projects in Maharashtra with a total capacity of 4000MW. The Kamod and Ghosla projects will generate power using reversible turbines and create around 2,500 jobs. Completion is expected within five years, aiming to address Maharashtra’s energy needs and support state development.
