9 get infections after eye surgeries in Gujarat’s Rajkot

Nine patients experienced eye infections after undergoing cataract surgeries at a trust-run hospital near Jasdan in Rajkot district. The hospital’s operation theatre has been sealed, and the infected patients were initially sent to Rajkot Civil Hospital. Due to severe infections, seven of them were later referred to Ahmedabad Civil Hospital for advanced care.
