Iraq says drone which killed three Kurdish officers came from Turkey

A drone that killed three Kurdish counterterrorism officers in Iraq originated from Turkey, according to a senior military official in Baghdad. The official condemned the violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and stated that Iraq reserves the right to stop these violations. Turkey has increased its drone strikes on Kurdish targets in both Iraq and Syria, mainly targeting the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) and its Syrian Kurdish ally, the People’s Defence Units (YPG).
