Kanye West Malibu Mansion left in shambles after belated renovation, new owner contemplates major renovations

​West had bought the Malibu mansion in 2021 at a record-breaking price of $57.3 million. When he got delayed with the renovation work, he put the property on sale in December 2023. West put the mansion for sale at $53 million but finally sold at a loss of nearly $36 million for just $21 million. Then, Belwood Investments will invest $6-8 million to restore the house, once more agreeing to team up with the original design-build firm, Marmol Radziner, to revive this mansion to its former glory.
