Last year, Atlee’s birthday party brought together Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay, and the two actors had a conversation where they expressed their desire to work together in a movie. Atlee initially thought they were joking, but Vijay later messaged him to confirm his interest. Shah Rukh also asked Atlee if he was serious about the project, to which Atlee confirmed his commitment. Atlee is now working on a mass entertainment film for an OTT platform, which will star Shah Rukh, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Deepika Padukone.
