Andhra govt suspends SIT probe into Tirupati laddu case till Oct 3

The Andhra Pradesh government has suspended the SIT probe into the Tirupati laddu ‘prasadam’ case till October 3. The decision follows a Supreme Court hearing that questioned the state’s claim of using contaminated ghee without solid evidence. The court stressed that faith matters should remain outside the realm of politics. ​It sought answers from the state govt and TTD on how they came to the conclusion that contaminated ghee was used to make the laddus.
