Ill-timed holiday declaration: Lawyer parent takes Ernakulam collector to Kerala HC

A public interest litigation (PIL) was filed before the Kerala high court on Thursday questioning the ill-timed decisions of Ernakulam district collector in announcing a holiday for educational institutions and then withdrawing it, leaving students stranded midway and parents scrambling to schools to collect children.
