Atishi claims LG directed police not to let her meet Sonam Wangchuk

Delhi chief minister Atishi has claimed that police, on LG VK Saxena’s orders, blocked her from meeting detained Ladakh climate activist Sonam Wangchuk. Atishi emphasized that this kind of governance is dictatorial and called for full statehood status for Ladakh and Delhi. Wangchuk long with 150 Ladakhis, has been detained since Monday night for allegedly violating prohibitory orders.
