Vice Admiral Arti Sarin 1st woman to head AFMS

Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin has become the first woman officer to lead the Armed Forces Medical Services as its Director General. With a career spanning 38 years, Sarin has held key positions including DG Medical Services for both the Navy and Air Force, and Commandant of AFMC Pune.
