Nipah outbreak under control but threat not over yet: Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan

Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan stated that the Nipah outbreak in Kozhikode district is currently under control, but the threat is not completely eliminated. The possibility of a second wave of the virus cannot be ruled out. The early detection of the virus and effective prevention measures by the state health system have helped contain its spread, the chief minister said.
