HC division bench stays order against Ola on sexual harassment plaint

The Karnataka High Court’s division bench temporarily stayed a ruling that penalized Ola Rs 5.5 lakh for not responding to a woman’s sexual harassment complaint against a driver. The bench refuted that Ola drivers are employees, terming them as independent contractors. Further hearing is set for October 28.
